Healthcare workers. This will include all frontline healthcare workers such as doctors, nurses, midwives, biomedical scientists (medical laboratory professionals), and pharmacists

Concept

Occupational stress: This refers to the ongoing or progressing stress a healthcare worker experiences due to the responsibilities, conditions, environment, or other pressures of the workplace due to the COVID-19 pandemic

Burnout: This refers to a state of emotional, physical, and mental exhaustion caused by excessive and prolonged stress [12]

Context

Africa: This will include all African countries that recorded COVID-19 cases
