Population

This study’s population will include individuals aged between 10 and 24 years old.

Concept

Disclosure of HIV status: Knowing your HIV status, informing someone about it such as sexual partner(s), family member(s), and others.

Context

Prevalence of disclosure to/by adolescents/young people, who adolescents/young people disclose to, predictors of disclosure, safe sex practice in SSA countries: This will include all countries listed among the World Health Organization Africa Region (Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cabo Verde, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Congo, Cote d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, South Africa, South Sudan, Togo, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe)
